Role Responsibilities : 
* Build new and innovative product features
* Maintain high level performance quality
* Rapidly fix bugs and solve problems
* Collaborate with designers and engineers alike
* Write clean, stable, unit-tested code and accompanying documentation where needed

Candidates must:
* Have passion to design, build and polish great, simple, fun mobile applications
* Be driven to succeed & be self-motivated with the ability to work with little supervision or hand-holding
* Be comfortable working independently and owning product features from start to finish

Required Knowledge and Experience:
* 2+ years of Android mobile application development
* Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON
* At least 2 published applications in the Google Play Store available for immediate download and review by our team
* BA/BS degree in Computer Science, related technical field or equivalent practical experience
* Passionate about solving customer problems with innovative mobile solutions
* Knowledge of Android UI frameworks, MVP application design and complex, reactive touch based UI
* Experience with the Android SDK performance tools and optimization techniques
* Solid foundation in computer science, with strong competencies in data structures, algorithms and software design optimized for embedded systems
* Experience working in a team development environment
* Experience working in an Agile development environment
* Experience with task planning and estimating effort
* Appreciate great design and thrive in a creative environment
* Experience detecting and correcting memory usage issues as well as optimizing code for application performance
* Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability and high reliability
* Bluetooth integration experience including creating bluetooth library

Bonus points:
* Retail e-commerce experience
* Development experience with other mobile platforms (e.g. iOS)
* Experience with BLE and Arduino and spark.io modules
* Experience with game development
* Ability to develop APIs is a big plus
