VanMoof is a fast-moving bike company set for major growth. But we can only grow with a strong foundation and organized, effective data. That’s why we’re looking for an Internal Controller/Auditor in Taipei to keep our process data organized and up-to-date, and prepare the internal audit.

We’ll expect you to take on a key position in the Finance team. At VanMoof, finance is at the core of our company. As we rapidly expand our global footprint, centralized data control and keeping all documents organized is vital to our business. You’ll report to the Financial Controller and work closely with the dynamic Accounting and Supply Chain team. Your focus will be on the system data maintenance, and you'll play a key role in our internal audit for all necessary document checking.

What you’ll do

• You'll make sure Odoo is up-to-date with all the necessary data to make sure that processes won't be blocked.
• You'll review financial control to make sure all internal controls are executed before the audit. This includes but is not limited to: information gathering, access reviews, and purchase price reviews.
• You'll help to solve and respond on the relevant internal communication channels.
• You'll document all relevant procedures and clarify process details, like product setup processes.
• You'll manage the contracts and agreements with external parties and control the related process flow.
• You'll collect all issues and improvements to our systems and discuss these with the Development team to improve the process.

What you’ll bring:

• You have at least two years of experience in accounting, finance, auditing or business management within a rapidly growing business.
• You're familiar with ERP system concept. Knowledge of the Odoo system is plus.
• You have excellent MS Excel skills.
• You're familiar with the process of internal and external audits.
• You have outstanding organizational and communication skills.
• You pay meticulous attention to detail.

Extremely nice to have:

• Worked in a similar role at a start-up/ scale-up e-commerce or at a similar extreme growth stage company
• Experience in manufacturing industry
• Experience with G-Suite tools
