Position Overview

Based in the Taiwan office, you will help us achieve our mission of empowering more and more users to tell their own engaging stories using Vyond. You will play a key role in building our product, driving our north star metric(s) and delivering a product strategy that is executable in the short term and strategic in the long term.

You will bring unique Product Management experience to Vyond that few at the company have. Working in a cross-functional team, you will work with other leaders (including the senior management team) to understand the company strategy, formulate a product strategy and KPIs, and work with leaders across the entire organization to optimize the work spent on building the product. You will also be responsible for supporting and guiding the Product Managers in the Taiwan office.

You will also take the lead in establishing a strong Product Management culture at Vyond, showing all the value of Product Management principles and practices to help each function deliver the most value it can for Vyond’s customers.

• At least 8 years software product management experience in an Agile environment
• 3 or more years in a lead position is preferred
• Launched a variety of products across different domains, geographies and industries including: managing release strategy, business case development and ROI / KPI measurement - with deep expertise in at least one domain
• Experience in managing a portfolio of product work e.g. program management, managing multiple product teams
• Comfortable in working with data, design, engineering, marketing and operations managers to solve organizational challenges and implement cross-functional practices
• Ability to create and communicate a product vision and goals, linking that to how the business operates, and regularly measure progress towards those goals
• Understanding of various approaches to product development processes and ability to identify and implement changes at all levels of the process
• Comfortable discussing ideas and influencing key customers, senior management, and third-parties
• Team player who can develop other Product Managers (experience in leading a team is a plus)
• Ability to train others in Product Management practices
• Expert in communicating across the entire organization, comfortable with a variety of different facilitation styles
• Excellent English communication, both written and oral
• Experience in working with distributed teams, experimentation / A/B testing, and products in the creative industry is an advantage
