Job Summary:
The Associate DevOps Engineer, Digital and Transformation participates in the enhancement, hosting and maintenance of West IoT solutions. He will work with an international team to bring the power of IoT in the Pharmaceutical space, contributing to a more efficient and effective production flow as well as instrumentally contribute to West Pharma IoT internal and customer facing capabilities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support the installation, configuration, and maintenance hosting of software components
- Participate to production system monitoring to meet high availability up-time
- Develop and maintain tooling used in West Software-Development-Life-Cycle
- Support development and testing teams
- Take part of maintaining and improving systems cyber-security
- Communicate & work with local and overseas teams
- Support senior roles to architect project from prototypes to testing
- Other duties as assigned

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent preferred
- 1+ years of related work experience a plus
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Passion for new technologies
- Programming knowledge
- Networking routing & security knowledge (CCNA a plus)
- Database experience (SQL as minimum, multiple a plus)
- Following experience a plus:
- Monitoring, Logging & automation tools
- Cloud services (AWS, GCP or Azure)
- Container Orchestration systems (Docker, K8s)
- Encryption technologies(TLS, PKI)
- Intermediate or better English ability (oral and writing)
- Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced and complex environment with a self-motivated work ethic; use sound judgment with an ability to manage multiple priorities with a sense of urgency
