A Lot About You
Depending on your background and experience, you will be joining in one of the following teams:

(1) Taiwan Media Product & Engineering team develops and operates 30+ websites and mobile apps that include Homepage, News, Finance, Entertainment, and Commerce; providing premium digital contents to millions of users every day and helping us dominate in the TW/HK markets. We focus on creating the most relevant local experiences and services while leveraging global developments.

(2) Taiwan E-commerce Product & Engineering team is a unique business in APAC within Yahoo. We are hiring more native app development interns to deliver more quality E-commerce apps to the market. The E-commerce mobile team is responsible for delivering world-class E-commerce focused native apps on both iOS and Android platforms.

What You’ll be doing

Our interns get to work with a great stack and work on some cool open source projects. We look for self-starters with a passion for technology, who live for a challenge, thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment, and who come to work ready to have fun!

Create fun product / prototype development in iOS or Android

Working with mobile teams to leverage the results and ship a workable prototype

Working with product managers and designers to develop mobile app based on their requirements

Joining the team discussion, contribute your domain knowledge to improve the UX as well

Prototyping for new UI and business concept

You Must Have
Currently attending or getting permission from college or graduate school programs in 2023 Summer

Pursuing a BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science/Software Engineering or related technical field

Good knowledge of software design and development.

Knowledge in Objective-C, Swift, iOS Cocoa touch framework or Java, Kotlin or Flutter

Enthusiastic and dedicated personalities.

Excellent communication skill and user-focused thinking

Preferred Qualifications
Experience or project work with mobile app programming (iOS / Android) on mobile phones or tablets is a plus

Experience test automation in apps

Strong understanding of product quality and performance standards

Strong knowledge on the difference between OS versions

Also know Android/iOS development, capable for both OS

Ability to take initiative and be innovative
