Petit

Petit is a pet tracker that uses LinkitOne developed by MTK and BLE. When the pet is lost, Petit will use BLE to provide long-term tracking service (which lasts longer GPS). If other Petit users meet the Petit on the lost pet, Petit will notify other Petit users of  information of the lost pet to improve the recovery probability.

DataVRoom

By leveraging the flexible SDN (Software-Defined Network) and OpenStack, a load balancing mechanism in resource pools is proposed, where 6to4NAT is exploited to provide a way forward in the IPv6-to-IPv4 transition. It also provides dynamic bandwidth expansion that  does not need to use VLAN in complex networks. It can directly connect any endpoint to add the overall network bandwidth.

NTUST' TA

NTUST'TA provides various functions required for the students and teachers in the campus. Teachers can use the App to roll call. Roll call system will use the ThinAP in the campus to detect the position of students in case of impostor. This app also provides interactive tool to replace the traditional one-way interactive whiteboard in class. When the student has questions, the teacher can allow the student to co-edit the whiteboard. The student can instantly synchronize to the whiteboard and use the built-in microphone of the phone to broadcast to the classroom in case the other students can’t hear it. The conversation will be automatically recorded so students can review and teachers can improve their quality of teaching.

  • The 2nd Prize, College Cloud Application Contest, Ministry of Education, Taiwan

About me

I was born in Guanshan Township, Taitung County, and grew up in a rural environment. I had a strong curiosity with computer-related things. Since childhood, I read some of the information technology books and magazines in my free time.

I had excellent performance in high school. In addition, I began to study the network technologies and applications. My teacher recommended me to participate the National Skill Competition IT Network Systems Administration and I got excellent results. By virtue of the excellent results of the competition, I got admitted to department of computer science and information engineering at National Taiwan University of Science and Technology.

During the university, the development of Software-Defined Networking (SDN) and cloud virtualization attracted my attention. I began to learn the relevant knowledge and expertise and tried to do some research and practical operation methods. In addition to my research, I participated many competition of various field  with a team. Our team had great performance and won a lot of prizes. During the process, I expand my breadth of knowledge and skill. In my spare time, I joined the dessert club to learn making snacks, make friends, and experience many different things.

In master degree, My research is forces on Design of IoT HoneyNet from the perspective of Virtualized Network, the project with TWISC, Taiwan and NICT, Japan. I learn the computing virtualization like OpenStack and implement Infrastructure as Code ,and networking monitor.

Work Experience in AIS3

AIS3 is a one-week security summer school in Ministry of Education, Taiwan. In AIS3, we invited experts with experience of international security competitions and local and international scholars to lecture. In 2015, we set up the wired and wireless network for all participants and instructors, file-download servers, and streaming equipment for two classrooms.

In 2016, the scale of AIS3 was grown up. AIS3 held in three venues (Taipei (north of Taiwan), Taichung (middle of Taiwan), Kaohsiung (south of Taiwan)) at the same time. We not only provided better wired and wireless network in three venues but also designed a file server runs faster and synchronizes the files between three sites. For instance, in Taipei venue, there were 140 participants, and each participant needs to download the total of 86GB data. Also, these files need to transfer to other sites. On top of that, we also provided streaming services for the other venues (Taichung and Kaohsiung) and established a network monitoring and management center to monitor the three sites of the network condition in Taipei venue.

In 2018 and 2019, AIS3 added the high-level competition, AIS3 EOF. We provided the competition environment and co-operated with Cyber Security Laboratory, NICT, Japan to build the visualized system. In 2018, we co-operated with KlickKlack Communication Taiwan to change the wired to wireless. The participants have their own account to access wireless and will be directed to their team network by 802.1x with dynamic VLAN.
