Iowa Political Strategist

A long-time political lobbyist and strategist in Iowa, Craig Schoenfeld holds a bachelor’s degree in political science and communications from the University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point, along with a master’s in mass communication from Drake University. Possessing upwards of 25 years of experience in the field, he has held such roles as legislative analyst for the Iowa House of Representatives and Chief Operations Officer of Domiknow. Through these positions, he has developed a strong understanding of public relations, public affairs, crisis communications, and government affairs. Craig Schoenfeld brings this knowledge with him to his current positions as president at CR3connect and principal at Prairie Lawn Political Consulting.

When he’s not busy designing and implementing strategies that build support for clients, or handling public relations and government affairs matters, Mr. Schoenfeld enjoys a range of hobbies. An avid music fan, he enjoys playing the drums and attending live music shows. He is particularly fond of listening to Chicago blues and New Orleans jazz music from artists such as Lonnie Brooks, Duke Ellington, and Wilson Picket. In addition, Mr. Schoenfeld loves cooking, and specializes in making specialty cheesecakes and Italian cuisine. Outdoor cooking is another pastime of Mr. Schoenfeld’s, including campfire cooking, BBQ, and smoking meats.
