Theoretically deduced a generalized content-priority-aware chunk scheduling from data-availability domain for swarm-based p2p live streaming system (IEEE JETCAS’ 14) .
Issued an interdiscipline research proposal about time-critical social mobilization for problem-solving on Internet (involve social psychology, counseling psychology and incentive p2p network), which was accepted by MOST(Ministry of Science and Technology) in R.O.C and got 6.54 million NTD funding.

Designed a low complexity rate mode of H.264 CAVLC in JM (IEEE ICASSP’ 07).
Led a team (6 computer science graduates) to prototype a live p2p streaming system.
Conducted an extensive event-driven simulations in P2PSim, and deduced a mathematical model to evaluate bandwidth utilization when some high-priority information is delivered in a swarm fashion so that we can optimize the delivered video quality in swarm-based p2p streaming system(SIGCOMM’09 poster, IEEE ICME’09 oral , IEEE ICNP’1 1 poster, IEEE HPCC’ 11).
