Cystem Chen

Cystem is a multidisciplinary designer/artist who has a passion for app and web UI/UX, product designs, and gaming/cinematic visual art. For the last 7 years, Cystem has been building and delivering creative solutions and experience for global startups and an indie game studio. He is a self-learner, who always enjoys different disciplines and keeps up to date with new industry trends. |

He started off his entrepreneurship journey when he was in senior high school, by joining an award-winning, game-based learning platform startup based in the US, Warinbo, Inc. He led the product development across multiple areas such as UI/UX, game design and concept art, marketing support, and balanced both product design and business mindset.

In August 2019, he joined Omlet Arcade, a mobile streaming social platform, as a designer on a larger team. He practiced more user experience and usability research for the app that touches over 8m monthly users, and achieved bigger business goals. He also led the development team for the integrated virtual avatar stream Unity project, helped the team solve technical bottlenecks, created MVPs, and launched the product in a short time frame.

Cystem’s diverse experience made him become an all-round designer and an interdisciplinary thinker. He loves to be cohesive and collaborative with people from all over the world, endorses diverse cultures, and executes great work beyond design.
