Darrell Wong

Criminal Defense Attorney

Based in Kailua, Hawaii, Darrell Wong serves as a part-time criminal defense attorney. Over the past 30 years, he has acquired extensive experience while working on a variety of cases. Darrell Wong is a member of the Hawaii and Colorado state bar associations.

Mr. Wong has been a criminal defense attorney since 2016. He accepts cases including misdemeanors and felonies. Previously, he was deputy attorney general with the criminal investigations division of Hawaii’s department of taxation. During his time there, he oversaw tax fraud cases as well as social and welfare fraud cases.

Darrell Wong earned his bachelor of science in business management and finance from Brigham Young University. He went on to attend the university’s J. Reuben Clark School of Law, where he obtained his juris doctor. He has also completed several training courses covering witness interviewing and cross-examination. Outside of his work, he enjoys outdoor pursuits such as skiing and surfing.
