David Wunderlin Gives Back to the Community

David Wunderlin spent many years in the corporate world, rising to become CEO of PepsiCo in New Zealand. Each stop along the way saw more success than the one before. At one time, David Wunderlin was on top of the business world, an in-demand commodity that any business would have been glad to have work for them.

But after years spent increasing corporate profit margins, David felt called to a different sort of service. He wanted to focus on his community and help the less fortunate. David turned to non-profits and brought his considerable talents to their disposal.

David served as president and CEO of the Northwest Center in Seattle, Washington. The Northwest Center provides a broad range of services to children and adults with disabilities. Under David’s guidance, Northwest Center was named the Large Non-Profit of the Year by the governor of the state of Washington.

After ten years with the Northwest Center, David moved on to Clear Path International, an international NGO that provides medical assistance to children and adults who have been victims of armed conflicts. From there he went on to Exceed Enterprises, which provides social services to people and companies in Oregon and Washington.

After that, it was back to helping children and adults with disabilities as Executive Director of ARC of Southwest Washington. His most recent stop was with Kitsap Community resources, which provides early childhood learning and developing family support.

Success in the competitive business world is something to be proud of, but David also treasures the time he has been able to give back to his community through his work with non-profits.
