A podiatric physician with a focus on sports medicine, Deo Rampertab, DPM, has two decades of experience in the management of multidisciplinary health care provider teams. Having most recently served as an associate director in the VA Office of Inspector General, Dr. Deo Rampertab was tasked with ensuring that Veterans Health Administration facilities provided quality patient care. 


Dr. Rampertab has also overseen surgical care in a variety of outpatient and inpatient clinic settings and handled issues of the foot, ankle, and lower leg. As a staff member of the VA Central California Health Care System in Fresno from 2015 to 2017, he undertook clinical and administrative duties and promoted podiatry-specific grand rounds. 


Dr. Deo Rampertab also functioned as the managing podiatric surgeon at Arizona Family Podiatry, PC, in Phoenix. As a senior team member of a Level-I trauma center, he ensured that practitioners were deployed for maximum efficiency and appropriate levels of care. 


Recognized repeatedly for his skills as a lecturer, Dr. Rampertab has also received the Under Secretary for Health Priority Award for Consistency in Best Practices, among other accolades.
