Companies

Domywriting is a global company which provides routing and switching solutions for both individuals and large companies; they have also recently branched out into video conferencing. This certification route is for you if you wish to design and implement networks rather than work in an administrative role. The most popular Cisco qualification is the Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), but they actually offer five levels of online essay writer certification: entry, associate, professional, expert, and architect. The main advantage of going down this route is that companies all over the world use Cisco, so it will open up many opportunities for you. You can also take specialized certification in security and wireless networking.

Microsoft Certification

Microsoft certification is similar to Cisco, but it is designed for you if you want to work on Microsoft equipment. They have routes available for you if you are an intermediate-level employee who wishes to work in an administrative, support role. As with Cisco, the opportunities are broad, as Microsoft equipment is used worldwide. They have multiple routes and specializations available; if you are completely new to the field, you should start with the Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA), while if you have a few years' experience, you can take the Microsoft Certified System Administrator (MCSA) course. To take on a more specialized role, similar to the Cisco courses, you can take the Microsoft Certified System Engineer (MCSE), which is the next level up.

CompTIA Certification

The big advantage of CompTIA certificates is that they are not specific to any one provider. Whereas CCNA trains you to work on the Cisco equipment and MCSA for Microsoft equipment, the various CompTIA qualifications are more generalized and will prepare you to work for any company; conversely, if one of these certificates lands you a job with Cisco or Microsoft, you would probably still be expected to take their courses. CompTIA offers several different certificates. Network + gives you an overview of network infrastructure and theory; Security+ teaches you about security threats such as hacking and how to deal with them, while the A+ exam is a more general, entry level overview of IT.

 Apple certification

Apple also has its own certification routes, which test your ability to work on Mac hardware and operating systems. The entry certification is the Apple Certified Support Professional (ACSP), which gives you a basic understanding of the system. From there, you can upgrade to certifications such as the Apple Certified Technical Coordinator (ACTC), which gives you a deeper understanding of Mac machines. The highest qualification is the Apple Certified Macintosh Technician (ACMT); this level is a requirement to work with an Apple service provider, and trains you to repair machines which are both in and out of warranty.
