Dr. George Hatzigiannis 

Educational Pursuits

A dental surgeon with a decade of professional experience, Dr. George Hatzigiannis has gained a wealth of continuing education credits since earning his doctor of medicine from the University of Connecticut in 2004. Certified in basic life support and advanced cardiovascular life support, Dr. George Hatzigiannis has completed multiple-credit continuing education courses focused on pathology, dental implants and advanced in medicine and anesthesia. He holds a bachelor's degree in biology from Harvard University as well as a doctor of medicine in dentistry from the Harvard School of Dental Medicine. 


For four years, Dr. Hatzigiannis treated patients out of his private practice in Massachusetts, Salem Peabody Oral Surgery. He also spent a year offering dental services to the state's underserved population through Small Smiles Dental Centers. He previously served as a North Shore representative for the Massachusetts' Dental Society's Council on Access, Prevention, and Interpersonal Relations. 


In addition to providing care to patients with facial trauma and dental implants, Dr. Hatzigiannis has collaborated on a multitude of medical reports and delivered numerous lectures throughout the northeastern United States and Puerto Rico.
