Dr. Konstantino Avradopoulos

A cum laude graduate of Northeastern Ohio University's six-year medical school program, Dr. Konstantino (Dan) Avradopoulos began working toward a career in general surgery in 1988 as a resident at Riverside Methodist Hospital. After five years at the Columbus-based hospital, the latter of which he served as chief surgical resident, Dr. Dan Avradopoulos completed a three-year surgical oncology fellowship at Brown University's Roger Williams Medical Center. He began his career as a surgical staff member with three Brown-affiliated teaching hospitals.

From 2000 to 2012, Dr. Avradopoulos served as a surgical oncologist with Massachusetts' Fallon Clinic, where he introduced a variety of new surgical techniques at Saint Vincent Hospital and launched its first breast cancer clinic. He furthered the use of his innovative and effective surgical procedures as a director of surgical oncology with Harrington Physician Services from 2012 to 2014. Additionally, he served as chairman of the Operating Room Committee at Harrington Memorial Hospital.

Upon completing a one-year stint as staff surgeon and surgical consultant in South Sudan with MRDC International, Dr. Avradopoulos joined Heywood Medical Group, where he serves as a lead physician in the wound care center for Heywood Hospital. In addition to his work in the operating room, he held clinical instructor roles with UMass Memorial Medical Center and Saint Vincent Hospital from 2002 to 2012.
