Littleton, Jr., has utilized his educational background as the founder of five corporations and nonprofits focused on providing a wide range of resources that assist individuals with special needs.
Prior to his entrepreneurial ventures, Dr. Robert Littleton spent 15 years as the director of the Kennedy-Donovan Center for Programs in Early Development. In this role, he was responsible for policy creation and supervising a staff of 130 professional educators and mental health workers. In addition, he oversaw the center’s budgeting and financial planning activities and was involved with the organization’s public relations platform.
In conjunction with his professional work, Dr. Littleton is also the chair for the executive committee of the board of directors at the Cambridge Center for Behavioral Studies. He serves as an advisory board member for the University of Massachusetts, Amherst’s School of Public Health and Health Sciences, and was the university’s first recipient of its Annual Salute to Service Award.
