Board-certified in dermatology and Mohs micrographic surgery, Dr. Thi Thien Nguyen Tran leads Village Dermatology & Cosmetic Surgery in The Villages, Florida, where he focuses on treating patients with skin cancer, emphasizing the importance of prevention as well as timely treatment. With a "Prevent, Detect, Treat" process at the forefront, Dr. Thi Thien Nguyen Tran, often referred to as Dr. Tran by his patients, also provides educational resources to launch patients and community members on a journey toward wellness.

Attending Case Western Reserve Univeristy, Dr. Tran earned his bachelor's degree in chemistry and biology as magna cum laude in the early 1990s. He subsequently pursued a doctoral degree at the Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine.
