Who am I...?
Hi This is Timmy Lin, 27 years old, TOEIC 860 point(gold license) graduated from Tamkang University in new-Taipai city and were the bachelor of Aero space engineering department. for now, I've serviced in MiTAC as Quality Engineer for about 2 Years and about 9 Months of software diagnostic engineer.
For me, I always like to learn more and more during working, even the knowledge that is not straightly related with my position. Besides , In order to adapt the rapid-changing environment, I aggressively build and keep the Competitiveness of myself, Learning C++ individually, for example.
I used C++ to build a auto test-flow control module, to let the product can test multiple test case synchronously, to massively increase the efficiency of product testing.
also, I'm now working on setting up an internal configuration control web server, from backend to frontend, by using python+javascript+mysql. In order to let the engineer can control the configuration of all products easier.
After these years, I believe that the respect of mine to quality, and strongly positive attitude are the rarest personality of mine, which bringing me to keep advance while working!
Working Experience / Skill
１－2019/12 - 2021/10－Quality Engineer, MiTAC
1. Experience of In charging of several customer audits / ISO 9001 audit.
2. background knowledge of ODM / OEM PCBA / System assembly process, also having basic SPC analysis ability.
3. Great skill of cross-department communication Due to QE is the main character to coordinate multi- departments to solve the issue when quality related issue occurs.
2－2021/10 - Present－Software Diagnostic Engineer, MiTAC
1. Ability of Linux Bash, Windows batch script, continuously working on C++ programming(intermediate)
2. Experience of designing the automatic function-test program for specific product produced by factory,
Product types are mainly PCB and enterprise Server.
3. Design the C++ based Linux environment automatic multi-process test module in order to reduce the spending time for 40% of product function test, and increase the effectiveness of production.
4. Using Python django as backend, js as frontend, with mysql, to build up a web server to let engineer to maintain the testing configuration, to increase the efficiency of maintaining and decrease the risk during modifying these data.
5. Create several tools to increase the efficiency of production and also for my own's.
--> Test Log analysis tool, increase about 100% more efficiency to collect the fail data, Q'ty and analysis the distribution of the fail symptoms.
--> Configuration control process, Control different Model's configuration within 1 single list, decrease 50% time for engineers to maintain the test program.
6. Design new automatic test program for specific NPI stage product according to the requirement raised by customer and the specific feature designed by RDs.
7. Due to the cable routing issue of server production occurs for years, I develop / design specific test program to inspect the cable routing of the product(Server), and resolve this defect permanently.
