Edward Joback

Enabling Organizational Transitions in Finance

A Certified Public Accountant, Edward Joback has led analytically focused teams. He has worked in many areas of the field of finance, including strategic planning, corporate development, financial planning and analysis, and profit and loss operations. Mr. Joback has also assisted businesses through post-merger integration, operations improvement, mergers and acquisitions due diligence, and divestiture separation processes. Currently, Edward Joback serves in the Corporate Center of Financial Planning and Analysis at American International Group (AIG).

Edward Joback prepared for his career in finance by earning a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Seton Hall University, where he focused his studies on accounting and economics and graduated cum laude. He received his Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School.

Edward Joback held the title of Principal Consultant with Price Waterhouse, where he oversaw the implementation of the Blue Cross-Blue Shield of Michigan’s Activity-Based Costing system. He worked at Lucent Technologies, taking on the roles of Strategy Director and Product Team Leader and working with a multimillion-dollar budget.

Mr. Joback worked as Director of Finance at Citigroup, where he directed the monthly analysis and reporting for its C-level executive review during a period of large-scale changes in management. In 2007, Edward Joback brought this experience to his current position at AIG.
