Fernando Arteaga

Principal of HKS in Miami

Fernando Arteaga has decades of experience in management across Miami and further afield, during which he has held various leadership positions. Since 2019, Fernando Arteaga has served as the principal of the Miami-based HKS, an international property design firm.

With the company, he coordinates the design of properties in Europe, the United States, and Latin America. Since starting in the role, Mr. Arteaga has also performed brand analysis and developed new business strategies to capitalize on new markets.

Before Fernando Arteaga moved to Miami, he was the design director of the Singapore-based Wilson Associates. Serving in the role for six years, he specialized in designing high-end projects with a contemporary twist. During this time, several of these projects received industry accolades.

Throughout this time, Mr. Arteaga has attended numerous industry events, including as a speaker. He is an Ibero American University graduate and holds a bachelor’s degree in architecture. He enjoys several hobbies, such as polo, a sport in which he has achieved success while competing in Asia.
