Travel around Iceland by 4x4 car | 28.06.2018 - 09.07.2018
Iceland has one main road, aka the Icelandic Ring Road. We rent a 4x4 car (Mazda CX-5) from Thrifty and went around the island. Driving in summer is not a challenge so we arranged some scenics on F roads. Unfortunately, we met bad weather most of the days but it cannot destroy our determination to conquer Iceland.

Since my children went to primary school, I cannot follow my inclinations to plan the journey. A Christmas vacation suddenly came, I realized that we were busy on routines and did not breathe the fresh-air for a year. Kyoto is just like our backyard and don't need to survey anything to travel to. Packed the luggage and go!

Learn from Japanese hospitality! We stayed in 天草 天空の船, ガーデンテラス宮崎ホテル＆リゾート, やまぐち・湯田温泉 古稀庵, リゾートホテル ベラビスタ境ガ浜 to obtain the know-hows of Japanese services and kindness. Also, hired a Kumamo car to see Kyushu beautiful landscapes and took trains to Sanyo area.

Chinese sayings, 讀萬卷書不如行萬里路, which means traveling brings about far greater benefit than mere book learning. We brought our children to see the real worlds not just learn from the Google.
Wild animals tracing in Iceland
It's a surprise that a small wild Arctic fox showed up when we enjoyed the hot spring in Ferðaþjónustan Mjóeyri. Iceland is one of the top places in the world to see Atlantic puffins and Borgarfjarðarhöfn is best reached while driving the ring road. The puffins are everywhere and very close to get to them.

Father is always the best cameraman in family. I bring the digital camera and action cam in every journey. Capture the beautiful scenics and touching moments, clip videos to keep the memory fresh forever.
Most lovely place in New Zealand
On the north Taranaki coast, a spectacular formation called Elephant Rock once stood alongside the three sisters rocks. This is the place you only can walk alongside the river at low tide. We are so lucky the weather is sunny so that we can see the rock so close.
Glamping in New Zealand south island
Our first long journey with grandparents and explore New Zealand south island in 2014. It's our first time driving a hugh campervan to travel all around the south island. To keep this sweety experience, I make a memory capsule to show off. :-)
