The Special Assistant to the F&B Director plays a critical role in supporting the Director in various administrative, operational, and strategic functions, contributing to the success and efficiency of the F&B department and enhancing guest satisfaction.
- Administrative Support: Provide comprehensive administrative support to the F&B department, including managing calendars, scheduling appointments, arranging meetings, and handling correspondence.
- Project Coordination: Assist in coordinating special projects and initiatives within the F&B department, such as menu development, restaurant renovations, or special menus.
▪Data Analysis: Collect, analyze, and present data related to F&B operations, including sales reports, customer feedback, and budgetary information, to support decision-making and strategic planning.
- Communication Liaison: Serve as a primary point of contact and liaison between the F&B Director and other departments, hotel management, external vendors, and clients, ensuring effective communication and coordination.
- Financial Management: Assist in budget preparation, expense tracking, and financial analysis for the F&B department, ensuring adherence to budgetary constraints and financial goals.
▪Staff Training and Development: Coordinate training sessions and workshops for F&B staff on topics such as service standards, menu knowledge, and operational procedures, to enhance their skills and performance.
- Event Planning: Assist in planning and executing special events, promotions, or marketing campaigns within the F&B department, including coordinating logistics, managing guest lists, and overseeing event setup and execution.
- Quality Control: Monitor and maintain quality standards in food and beverage offerings, service delivery, and overall guest experience, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective measures as needed.
- Policy and Procedure Implementation: Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards within the F&B department, and assist in developing and implementing new policies or initiatives as required.
- Problem Solving: Proactively identify operational issues or challenges within the F&B department and work with the Director to develop solutions and strategies for improvement.
