About Her

Her specialty pearl business has been in the family for more than a century, and working with beautiful pearls serves to reinforce her love of nature's beauty. Having attended two artistic schools - Hartwick College and Rittner’s School of Floral Design - Gretchen Reuter has studied, indulged, and maintained her appreciation for art, beauty, and the world around her.

Over the course of her artistic studies, Gretchen fostered an appreciation for design, precision, and intricacy, not only in works like paintings or sculptures but in everyday life, as well. Having studied Art History prior to floral design, Gretchen became fascinated with the appeal of still life paintings, most notably in the work of Saint ORLAN, whose pieces were notably eye-catching and progressive.
