Florida Resident Harold Bishop Leads Allurent Corporation

A Florida-based automation engineer, Harold David Bishop Jr. draws upon education received at the DeVry Institute of Technology in Atlanta, Georgia, from which he received a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering technology. Throughout his more-than-three-decade-long career in Florida and elsewhere, Harold David Bishop Jr. has received substantial vendor-specific training and certification from companies such as Honeywell , Siemens and Rockwell.

Mr. Bishop began his distinguished career in 1985 with Measurex, beginning as a site technical representative and eventually working his way up to the position of senior software control engineer. At Measurex, he developed custom applications for the company’s Measurex MxOpen distributed control platform while working with major clients in the paper industry.

Mr. Bishop left Measurex in 1995 to launch his own consulting firm, Object Technologies CEM. With offices in multiple states, the company provided automation control and software engineering solutions to manufacturing clients undertaking capital projects. He builds upon this experience in his current position as managing partner with Allurént Corporation, an automation engineering and systems control consulting firm.

In addition to his engineering career, Mr. Bishop leads Red Moon Properties, LLC, a Saint Augustine, Florida, real estate company with a portfolio that includes the 9 Aviles Street project. Red Moon purchased the historic Spanish mission-style building in 2017 and is in the process of reconstructing it. Once completed, the redeveloped property will include fast-casual restaurants and venues for local art and music.
