Invos App - Backend Engineer, May 2023 ~ Dec 2023

The Invos App is one of the first and most popular invoice management app in Taiwan. 

Golang / MySQL / GCP / Kubernetes / ArgoCD

• Built RESTFul APIs and gRPC endpoints under the microservice architecture. 
• Redesigned the push notification system .
• Migrated the device records to use the new push notification system.
• Improved the efficiency of invoice syncing process.
• Rebuilt and improved the speed of the invoice lottery checking system.
• Managed microservice deployment with ArgoCD.
  
• Worked on collecting the metrics of API and RPC endpoints with Prometheus and created Grafana dashboards.

Goodnight App - Software Engineer (Back End), Dec 2019 ~ Apr 2022 

Goodnight App is the first and most popular voice dating app in Taiwan. It has successfully penetrated the market in five countries, exceeding 11 million user registrations.

Ruby on Rails / PostgreSQL / Redis / AWS

• Built RESTFul APIs for the Goodnight App. 
• Built internal tools to improve the management process. 
• Created scripts to improve the deployment process. 
• Write SQL queries for the operation team to check campaign performance. 
• Managed service deployment using EC2/ECS/Elastic Beanstalk. 
• Extended 50+ ruby slack bot commands to simplify repetitive actions for the operation team.

Goodnight App - Backend Intern, Jul 2019 ~ Dec 2019

Ruby on Rails / PostgreSQL / AWS 

• Worked on feature development and trouble-shooting for the Main App Server.
  
• Built and maintained an internal Spammer Management Platform for the crew to view/modify user status.
• Created a set of rules to ban spammers and mark suspects automatically and integrated it with the primary app server.
