An international businessman for more than five decades, Harvey Goldstein currently operates as the chairman and CEO of PT Harvest International based in Southeast Asia, a consulting firm that assists clients in matters related to international trade, technology transfer, and investing. In addition to his many career accomplishments, Harvey Goldstein also takes an active interest in helping students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds in places like Indonesia and Singapore gain access to quality education. 


To facilitate better educational opportunities for underserved students in Asia, Mr. Goldstein serves as the chairman of the Southeast Asia Advisory Group for the John Hopkins Center for Talented Youth (CTY). In 2017, he was awarded the Certificate of International Leadership and Service from Johns Hopkins University President Ronald J. Daniels in recognition for his work in establishing a connection between the institution and scholars in Greater Southeast Asia. 


Mr. Goldstein holds a bachelor’s and a master’s in electrical engineering from the Polytechnic Institute of Brooklyn and Syracuse University, respectively, as well as a PhD in operations from the State University for New York at Buffalo. His work as a respected international business executive has led to his appointment to several prestigious positions, including as honorary consul to the Republic of Gambia, a role he has held since 1992.
