About Me
I am a 38 year old wife and mother of five children. My son is 20 and I have four daughters aged 16, 13, 10 and 9. I have been married to my husband for 14 years. I was born in New Castle Indiana and raised here there and everywhere in all the little towns in this area. I moved to Ky when I was 17, stayed for 10 years and moved back home in 2007. We have lived in our current home for 8 years now and I hope to pay it off soon and become a homeowner. Throughout the years I have been a homemaker, CNA, caregiver, DSP a few other odd things and now an HHA. I am now seeking to close the chapter in healthcare and transition into a position where I can put to use all of the skills I have learned along the way.

Currently a private duty Home Health Aide providing care to elderly female in her home requiring 24/7 staff assistance. Duties include medication administration, cooking, cleaning, hand feeding, bathing, dressing, all personal hygiene care needs, toileting, full assist transferring and lifting and executing all prescribed therapies.

Home Health Aide at Affordable Home Care in Richmond, Indiana. In home care to disabled and elderly. Supervisor was Hahn March. Left to do private duty.

Direct Support Professional-Work Shop Trainer at Hillcroft Services Inc. in New Castle Indiana. Trained MR clients in sheltered workshop. Job duties included medication administration, personal hygiene care, role modeling, carrying out individual behavior plans, instructing each client on jobs, supervising, checking work, filing out time sheets, distributing paychecks, handling violent clients with physical restraints or deescalation methods. Inputting client data into computer files. Supervisor was Linda Royer. Left to be treated for alcoholism Resigned position.

Administered medication, carried out behavior plans, role modeling, transported into the community, to work and events. Implemented deescalation methods and physical restraints on violent clients. Inputted data into computer spreadsheets. Supervisor was Evelyn Wyatt. Left for new position in New castle.
