Heather Falton
Formerly with Opis Management Resources
A health care executive in Florida, Heather Falton has more than a decade of experience managing health care and insurance contracts for skilled nursing facilities. In her most recent position, as executive vice president with Opis Management Resources, she was responsible for supervising nurse practitioners and the lead compliance officer, as well as handling insurance contracts for the company’s 10 skilled nursing facilities. Additionally, Heather Falton oversaw efforts to improve operational performance and clinical outcomes.
Before joining Opis Management Resources in an executive position, Ms. Falton provided direct patient care as a registered nurse (RN). She worked for a year with Brookwood Baptist Medical Center, followed by several years as an RN case manager with UnitedHealthcare, both in Birmingham, Alabama.
Ms. Falton received an associate of arts in nursing from Keiser University and also studied business management at Mount Vernon Nazarene University. Outside of work, she stays active by working out and horseback riding. She also enjoys shopping for antiques.
