Heather Kulwin

Building Permitting with the City of Indianapolis

Heather Kulwin is an Indianapolis professional who has held a position with the city as building code analyst for the past dozen years. Her responsibilities involve managing the permitting aspects of proposed commercial projects. Heather Kulwin also has experience with the IT department of Bridgestone Firestone Diversified Products and was tasked with implementing SAP software within its business units.

Ms. Kulwin holds a bachelor’s degree in public affairs from Indiana University in Bloomington and competed her MBA at the University of Indianapolis. Her professional experience includes serving as a sales associate at Crate and Barrel, where she earned the associate of the quarter award. Prior to assuming her current position, she worked in inside sales with the home services site Angie’s List.

Ms. Kulwin maintains an active presence in her local community and is a member of the Indianapolis Museum of Art’s Design Arts Society and the Junior League of Indianapolis. She also supports the charitable Christamore House Guild, which has a neighborhood mission spanning life skills training and youth education.
