My name is Harold “Brent” Franks, I go by Brent. I have  7 years of experience in construction, 2 years of experience in construction materials testing and 11 years experience with USPS delivering mail. During my time with GLF, I served as a mechanic and heavy equipment operator. Working with GLF on various construction projects including but not limited to, Asheville regional airports, US 64 expansion in Lake Toxaway, NC gave me a fair amount of experience and has helped me tremendously with my new career as a construction inspector with BLE Engineering. I am a hard worker, loyal and dependable. I have an outgoing personality and do well in a team based environment, work well with others and maintain a positive attitude throughout the work day. I believe strongly in my convictions and always put my best foot forward.

I was an average to good student, fast learner with good attention to detail.

Structural and Geotechnical inspections. Concrete testing, reinforcing steel inspection. Post tension cable placement and stressing. In situ testing of soils for density and bearing. Assist in the laboratory conducting concrete strength testing and Geotechnical soils testing.

I’ve worked for USPS since 2009 delivering mail along my specified route. I deliver mail on an as needed basis, working for USPS does not implicate my primary occupation.

Operate heavy equipment through various phases of construction, fueling equipment at days end, repairing heavy equipment as needed. I am a diesel and gasoline engine mechanic. Assisting wherever needed to ensure the production is completed in the most efficient and cost effective manner.
