Online Tutors Application Optimization

As a Product Manager at AmazingTalker, an online tutoring platform, I led a team to streamline the application process for prospective online tutors. Prior to our intervention, the original process spanned over 5 days and resulted in a 60% loss of applicants. By leveraging user research and data-driven design, we successfully eliminated unnecessary steps, introduced call-back notifications, and refined the onboarding guidance. For instance, we replaced the convoluted tooltips with a pop quiz that was more intuitive and ensured a thorough understanding of the platform.
