An online database where users can access and reproduce primary materials of the history of the Greater New York City area. With a search engine focusing on navigational queries that display the results with view controls that can be adjusted by the user.

- Responsibility: Entire front-end development (Apply design thinking process, Assists in setup, configuring, maintaining tools and frameworks that improve developer productivity, produce wireframe design, built two projects which gained praise from the Interim President Paul Arcario Ed. D., raised UX scores by 70% and increase website visitors by 1500 the first month, apply web services REST protocol, create maps and handle Geocoding API).
Comunidad Con Propósito
Beautiful website built for a Non-profit organization called Comunidad Con Propósito located in Queens, NY. The purpose of this website is to increase the amount of people that the program serves to a Spanish speaking community. To accomplish this, we developed a website with capability translate the website with PHP to reach a wider community.

This Date In History
Mobile App that uses a database of historic events that allows users to see what happened today in history. Users can search by date and learn about the history of a specific date, they can also share with their community cool dates and facts that they find enjoyable.

LG&WA is an organization created to preserve and provide New York City's most important social and political history. We serve a broad array of researchers: journalists, students, scholars, exhibit planners, and policymakers examining the past of Greater New York.
- Redesign the website focusing on the customer needs and user experience using the latest UX/UI techniques.
- Develop a responsive website using JavaScript, CSS, with libraries such as jQuery and frameworks such as Bootstrap.

- Orchestrated a technology blog and video blog which gained over 1500 followers in a two-month span.

Thanks to having strong presentations skills I earned a scholarship with Break Through Tech formerly known as WiTNY (Women in Technology & Entrepreneurship in New York) on Cornell Tech in 2017-2018. Thanks to the workshop presented to over 200 students called "From class diagram to API server with LoopBack.io and Node.js" in the CUNY Hackathon Fall 2017. This presentation was made with the support of the IBM Watson Cloud City Team with which I learned hands on about web services and technical skills such as REST APIs, Agile Development, design thinking, Loopback.io, Ionic and many more.

As a Computer Science major in La Guardia, I was able get hands on experience with several programming skills to develop, deploy, test, and demo a variety of mobile applications, websites, and computer Software which allowed me to make a proactive impact in my community. For example, working in teams with a professor and two other students we developed an Application named "USafe" that acts as a mobile house security system for people in dangerous situations.
The professors in La Guardia made sure I graduated with a strong foundation on algorithms and data structures, as well as to apply these techniques to develop applications to serve customers in the most innovative and reliable way possible.
