I am Sheng-Chieh Wang, a Technical Artist at a software company based in Taipei with extensive experience in Software Development and Visual Arts. 


I'm familiar with product planning, software specification design and UX/UI design, I was part of a team that developed a real-time animation production software, the world's first 2D motion capture platform, and web animation service.


I was the First-Prize winner of the 11th Digital Art Awards Taipei. My work were selected for the 2016 Arte Laguna Prize, the 2017 Siggraph Asia Art Gallery, and the 2019 404 International Festival of Art and Technology. My works are invited to be exhibited domestically and internationally.

I am Sheng-Chieh Wang, a Technical Artist at a software company based in Taipei with extensive experience in Software Development and Visual Arts. My responsibilities in the company include product planning, software specification design, UX/UI design, and make product training tutorials. I was part of a team that developed a real-time animation production software, the world's first 2D motion capture platform, and interactive multimedia animation cloud service. 


Having been involved in the product development cycle of multiple products, I am experienced in the development of animation software. I have helped engineers define technical specifications and validation standards. As the main technical contact for the product development team, I acted as the bridge of communication between the R&D, Art, PM, and marketing departments. 


Since my past jobs required a vast amount of competitor analysis and technical research, I have developed excellent logical thinking skills and the ability to quickly learn any software. When faced with challenges or the unknown, I am not afraid to try different things. I enjoy identifying problems and developing solutions for them. 


I earned my MFA in New Media Arts from the Graduate School of Multimedia and Animation Arts of the National Taiwan University of Arts, where I was dedicated to creating with digital art. I am well-versed in film making and animation production and have basic programming proficiency. While attending school, my work was awarded the first prize at the 11th Digital Art Awards Taipei. I have been invited to exhibit my works around the world, gaining recognition internationally with selections to the 2016 Arte Laguna Prize, the Art Gallery at 2017 Siggraph Asia, and the 404 Festival in 2019, among others. 


Outside of work I love to create art. I have participated in various art exhibitions. During the creative process, I continue to gain new knowledge while experimenting with new technology.
