A law student at the University of Denver (DU), Jacob Scholl expects to graduate from its Sturm College of Law in 2020 as a legal extern with the Federal Public Defender of the District of Colorado. In addition to his appellate student-lawyer tenure with the DU Student Law Office, Jacob Scholl has already completed legal externships with 2nd Judicial District of Denver magistrate Karen Hubler, Colorado Court of Appeals judge Rebecca Freyre, 2nd Judicial District of Denver judge Elizabeth Starrs, and the Hinton Law Office of Littleton, Colorado.
Jacob Scholl augments his work in the academic and professional realms as a member at large of the Criminal Law Association. Since 2019, he has also served the Jewish Law Student Association as its vice president.
In his free time, Mr. Scholl works toward setting a new Guinness record for visiting the most courthouses in the world. He is also a fine art painter who favors abstract expressionism and a competitive power lifter and bodybuilder.
