I was born in Taiwan and finished my education before college in Mainland China, and I recently graduated from UC Santa Barbara, California, with a major in Economics and minor in Statistics and Data Science. 

I have taken courses regarding Behavioral Finance, Econometrics and Data Analysis. I also spent a semester as an exchange student at The National Taiwan University with a focus on Econometrics, Marketing and Strategy, where I got familiar with programming software like R and STATA through working on Class Projects with local classmates. I have also completed internship at IAPS, NYCU Accelerator as a Startup Consulting and Investment Intern.

Work Experience

Startup Consulting and Investment Intern

IAPS NYCU Accelerator  •  August 2023 - December 2023

  • Conducted market research and engaged in due diligence for 13 potential startup investments for TX Venture
  • Maintain relationships with international startup founders who wished to expand business in Taiwan and helped them signed MOUs with taiwanese corporates 
  • Offered improvement advice on pitch decks for startups to get more exposure in fund raising
  • Initiated in-depth research into Search Fund model and analyzed its feasibility in Taiwan

Data Intern

  • Provide detailed notes summarizing project content; gathering all relevant information pertaining to the project; and completely closing a file once the project is complete
