Jay Greig

Jay Greig is a graphite pencil artist from Carson City. He is the founder of J. Greig Graphics, a company through which he sells and promotes his artworks.

This graphite pencil artist was born in Carson City, Nevada in 1980.

The paintings of Greig are detailed and portray a variety of themes, he uses a wide variety of pencils for the creation of his paintings. Greig uses perspective, rich tonality and a number of rendering techniques to achieve the sense of depth and movement.

Greig’s artwork has won a number of awards in numerous national and international juried shows. Some of these shows are The Salmagundi Club, American Artists Professional League, Allied Artists of America, and Audubon Artists.

Several prestigious publications such as Western Horseman and American Quarter Hourse Journal have featured Greig’s artwork, as well as numerous other articles and covers on various publications.

Greig Received his Summa Cum Laude Associate of Arts Degree from the University of Nevada.

Greig established his company J. Greig Graphics in 2000. Through this company he publishes and sells his artwork. Jay Greig is also known under the names Jason Allen Greig and J. Greig.
