Jerrold Shipman

Founder and President of JWS Enterprises

A graduate of the University of Massachusetts Amherst, Jerrold “Jerry” Shipman holds a bachelor of arts in history. After graduating with his degree in 1999, he found employment as a personal assistant and advance man for Massachusetts attorney general Tom Reilly. Jerrold "Jerry" Shipman went on to serve 3 years as a territory manager with the Armed Forces Benefit Association (AFBA).

Working out of AFBA offices in Laguna Beach, California, Jerry Shipman oversaw sales throughout Southern California and Nevada. His outstanding performance in this position earned him consistent rankings among the top five sales professionals within a national AFBA sales force of approximately 500.

Mr. Shipman has been the president of JWS Enterprises since he founded this New York City company 15 years ago. Along with its history of residential housing investments in Westchester, New York, and Cape Cod, Massachusetts, JWS operates the Eastside Billiards and Bar on Manhattan’s Upper East Side. In addition to serving its regular clientele, the Eastside Billiards and Bar hosts an annual pool tournament for inner-city youth, as well as various charitable and political fundraising events.
