Jim Lamm

An attorney at Gray Plant Mooty, Jim Lamm holds a bachelor’s degree in management from St. John's University, where he made the Dean's List and earned distinction in the field of management. Jim Lamm went on to earn a juris doctor from the University of Minnesota Law School in 1997.

From 1997 to 2007, Jim Lamm worked as an attorney at Rider, Bennett, Egan & Arundel, LLP. During this period, he was named a Minnesota Rising Star by Thomson Reuters in 2004 and 2006. In 2007, he joined Gray Plant Mooty, where he focuses on estate and tax planning.

To share his knowledge, Mr. Lamm regularly leads seminars on legal matters for financial planners, accountants, and lawyers. Speaking both locally and nationally, he has covered such topics as estate planning for digital property and ethics and data encryption for lawyers. Additionally, he has been interviewed by numerous publications, including The New York Times, USA Today, The Washington Post, and the Boston Globe.
