Joe Goddard, the owner of Cardinal Healthcare Group in Fayetteville, Arkansas, oversees much of the work done by the physician recruiting organization. Under his leadership, Cardinal Group recruits physicians of all specialties and serves hundreds of clients in almost every state in America. Joe Goddard also works with other healthcare organizations, such as Kaiser Permanente and Hawaii Cancer Care, to support their staffing needs. Some notable and recent Cardinal efforts include neurology work in Minnesota, recruiting emergency room physicians in California, and oncologists for Hawaii Cancer Group. 

Mr. Goddard's background in business started well before his arrival in Fayetteville, Arkansas, with his attendance at Missouri State University. He studied business at the school, graduating in 1991. 

During his spare time, Mr. Goddard participates in philanthropic work, as well as physical activities. He proudly supports multiple faith-based initiatives, including the Crossroads Interfaith Housing Program and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. He is part of the Northwest Arkansas Touchdown Club and enjoys college football, hunting, and fishing. He also gives back to the community through participation in youth sports coaching.
