The current principal and managing director of the New England Consulting Group, John B. Richards is an operating executive and management consultant with experience working with prominent multinational brands including Heinz, Four Seasons Hotels, Starbucks, and Royal Viking Cruises. Over an almost five-decade career, he has helped brands build market awareness through aggressive multi channel marketing and has engineered rapid growth in established firms through diversification and product and brand acquisition. John B. Richards has guided a number of multimillion- and multibillion-dollar firms through IPOs, as well as firms undergoing the transition to the private sector. Furthermore, through his work with brands targeting luxury market segments, Mr. Richards has built a reputation for a commitment to unparalleled customer service.
An alumnus of Bucknell University, John B. Richards earned a BA in history and sociology and played on the school’s championship varsity lacrosse team as starting midfielder. He later earned an MBA from the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School of Business, where he received distinction as a Wharton Public Policy Fellow.
