John Kidd

New York Anesthesiologist

Board certified in anesthesiology and possessing more than two decades of work experience, John Kidd, MD, currently works on behalf of Somnia Anesthesia in New Rochelle, New York, providing anesthesia services at several ambulatory surgery centers in metropolitan New York City. Previously, John Kidd, MD, spent 7 years with Premier Anesthesia at Adirondack Medical Center, where he provided pain medication and anesthesia during surgical procedures.

Dr. Kidd holds a bachelor of arts degree in chemistry (cum laude) from Bowdoin University and a medical degree from the University of Wisconsin. After graduating from medical school, he completed a pediatric residency at Le Bonheur Children’s Medical Center at the University of Tennessee, followed by an anesthesiology residency at Oregon Health Sciences University. His professional interests include the use of ultrasound to inform the application of regional anesthesia.

Dr. Kidd maintains membership in professional organizations such as the American Society of Anesthesiologists. When he is not working, he engages in hobbies such as reading, hiking, and watching professional sporting events.
