John Syers

Former Alborn Mulch Supply Foreman

John Syers spent nearly five years as a foreman with Toms River, New Jersey’s Alborn Mulch Supply, following a year as a welder at Milspray in Lakewood. His duties as a foreman at Alborn involved the repair and operation of heavy equipment used to solve problems and complete mulching projects in a timely manner. His work as a welder for Milspray, meanwhile, involved both the welding and fabrication of component pieces, as well as equipment maintenance and oxy-fuel cutting. During this time, John Syers also gained experience reading blueprints.

Mr. Syers concurrently served as a laborer at Shuflat Electric during his tenure with Alborn Mulch Supply. As a laborer, he managed both commercial and residential electrical installations. He trained at Ocean County Vocational Technical School and has also studied mathematics at Ocean County College. A few of his personal interests include hiking, fishing, kayaking, and playing hockey and volleyball.
