36 Years of Experience with IBM

The holder of a bachelor's degree with a double major in economics and business administration from Spring Hill College, John Teltsch began his career as a marketing representative in New Orleans, LA with IBM and has held progressive senior leadership roles with the company over the course of the past 36 years. After working four years as a marketing representative, John Teltsch was promoted to the role of sales manager and, after four years, moved to the IBM office in Dallas, Texas, where he served as an executive assistant to the general manager of the United States central region.

From 1993 to 1997, John Teltsch worked as a business unit executive for IBM's newly launched .com division where he was responsible for building the digital call centers and online commerce capabilities in both Dallas and Atlanta serving the entire USA. His success in that role earned him successive promotions in digital sales to oversee call center operations in Latin America and Europe. In 2013, he relocated to Madrid, Spain, where he served as vice president of software sales for Europe and regularly met revenue, expense, and profit targets through seven years in that role. He later served as general manager of the company's global sales and distribution organization and presently holds the role of general manager of global business partners.
