A Physician Committed to Rehabilitation

A physician board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation as well as Pain Medicine, Jonathan Komar, MD, most recently treated patients through Southwest Spine and Sports in Scottsdale, Arizona. While there, he cared for people with musculoskeletal injuries using state-of-the-art nonsurgical options like injection therapy. Moreover, Jonathan Komar, MD, improved the practice by designing its electronic health record template and maintaining it for years. In recognition of his performance, he was named a Top Doc of Phoenix.

Jonathan Komar, MD, remains active in his broader medical community. For instance, he served as president and educational chair of the Arizona Society of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. He also belongs to several other professional groups, including the North American Spine Society, Spine Intervention Society and American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.

Outside of work, Dr. Komar enjoys listening to a wide range of music. His favorite bands include the Pet Shop Boys and The Chemical Bothers. In fact, he owns a music collection that totals more than 2,300 CDs.
