After a long career as a New York City attorney, Joseph W. Sullivan retired and now lives in Nassau County. While guiding the law firm Sullivan & Associates as founder, he handled a wide-ranging caseload of personal injury matters spanning car accidents, medical malpractice, and dog bites. Also conversant in family and civil law, Joseph W. Sullivan managed all aspects of litigation, such as counseling potential clients on cases, researching case law, drafting legal memoranda and other documents, negotiating settlements, and bringing personal injury claims to court.
Mr. Sullivan holds a juris doctor from Harvard University, where he also obtained an undergraduate degree. When he was practicing, he belonged to the American Bar Association and was active as a member of the American Institute of Legal Counsel.
Passionate about sports, Mr. Sullivan is a fan of the New York Yankees and Knicks, and he is a season ticket holder with the New York Giants. He also makes the effort to keep fit, working out at the gym and participating in weight lifting and cycling classes. He is also an avid golfer.
