Josette Greechan 

Experienced Financial Services Executive


Josette Greechan served as Senior Vice President and International Financial Advisor at Merrill Lynch for close to 30 years. She led a team of three women, who together managed a foreign and domestic portfolio valued at $300 million. Josette Greechan attended to a client base of high net worth individuals as well as corporations, developing with each an integrated and individualized planning strategy.


Josette Greechan joined Merrill Lynch in 1987 following a three-year tenure as Marketing Representative for IBM Corporation. She had previously served IBM in Brazil as a Financial Planning Specialist and before that as a Systems Engineer. She arrived at IBM in 1976 as a Marketing Representative on the New York Stock Exchange team, a role for which she leveraged her combined technical knowledge and market acumen to recommend the IBM-centered automation of various systems.


Before beginning her work with IBM, Josette Greechan served as a lending officer with Chase Manhattan Bank. She rose to this position following successful completion of the company's credit training program, which she began following the receipt of her Bachelor of Arts degree from Skidmore College. She later went on to enhance her education with an MBA in finance and marketing from New York University.
