Juliano Laran

Behavioral Researcher with Focus on Consumer Marketing

A seasoned educator and academic scholar, Juliano Laran has served for more than a decade as a professor of marketing in higher education. In addition to teaching consumer psychology classes, he has conducted a range of scholarly research and has regularly published peer-reviewed papers on a variety of topics that relate to customer behavior and marketing. In fact, Juliano Laran’s prolific work in the world's premier marketing journals earned him recognition by the American Marketing Association as one of the 20 most-productive authors in the world from 2012 to 2019.

Over the last year, Juliano Laran has continued to publish articles in the top periodicals in his field. Those publications include the Consumer Psychology Review and the Neuromarketing Yearbook. Coauthored with colleagues Chiraag Mittal and Vladas Griskevicius, Juliano Laran’s article "How Early-Life Resource Scarcity Influences Self-Confidence and Task Completion Judgments" will appear in the Journal of the Association for Consumer Research in October of 2020.
