I am a midwife wanting to share my skills on how to care for people using evidence-based care.  I have collected this information based on my years of working with people and working in key industries that have enabled me to advance my organisational skills and adaptability to various computer software programs.

Gold Coast University Hospital, Midwife, Jan 2015 ~ Dec 2016

In 2015 I completed my graduate year, in 2016 I was employed as a midwife rotating between birth suites, maternity assessment unit and postnatal ward.

  • Provide woman-centred care for women in labour, while ensuring the direction of obstetric team and requests from family were met
  • Provide training and feedback for midwifery students and medical interns on shift

LEARNING FRENCH Achieved DELF B2 December 2019| studied Sep, 2018 – current

To apply for registration as a midwife in Switzerland I needed level B2 in French or German language. 

MATERNITY LEAVE Dec, 2007 – Jan, 2010 | I also took one year off from clinical subjects in my midwifery degree in 2011 after the birth of my second child.
