Karen Carlin is a graduate of Boston University, Massachusetts. She holds a bachelor of science in finance and has been helping individuals and families to plan for the future for nearly a quarter of a century. She first joined the Boston offices of UBS Financial Services as a senior wealth strategy associate in 1994. After 14 years at this global financial services firm, Karen Carlin worked as a certified financial planner with Credit Suisse in Massachusetts from 2008 to 2015.
Subsequently, she returned to UBS Financial Services. In her present capacity there, she provides clients with financial advice, focusing on retirement planning, education funding, risk analysis, and estate planning.
Away from her professional responsibilities, Carlin enjoys a range of outdoor activities. She likes to ski, hike, and scuba dive. Moreover, she enjoys cooking and reading. She also supported the American Red Cross in 2017, when she worked with a friend to raise $13,000 for the organization and to run in the Boston Marathon.
