Karen Clark, is a retired nurse newly residing in Sandpoint Idaho having relocated from Bellevue, Washington. She fills her leisure time with several hobbies. A resident of the golf course community at the Idaho Club, she enjoys gardening, crocheting, cooking, sewing and working on home renovations. Additionally, Karen Clark appreciates gathering with friends and family.

Karen still keeps in contact with many of her friends including those from grade school and high school in Michigan. She especially enjoys going back to Washington to visit family, grandchildren and friends. Having lived in Washington for 30 years, Karen met many fabulous people, through various activities including attending Seattle Arts & Lectures, The Seattle Opera but her most memorable moments were walking in the rain, or snow up and down the hills of Cougar Mountain with friends and her beloved dog, Sophie.
In Washington, while her children were young they were actively involved in sports and scouting. She spent several years in the 2000s as a Cub Scout den leader, then became Chairman of the Pack. An avid reader, she established a book club to engage in literary discussions about her favorite titles and to enjoy time with her friends.

Before her retirement, Ms. Clark held various positions in the healthcare industry as a Registered Nurse at the Detroit Medical Center. Ms. Clark holds a bachelor of science in nursing from Wayne State University, where she earned an academic scholarship. In addition to providing direct patient care, she worked as a bookkeeper for multiple small businesses. She also wrote medical content for the medical information company Vital Link.
